Djane Black Angel was born on October, 28, 1979 in Zurich. Already during her childhood she has been fascinated by music and played a number of instruments like flute, piano, saxophone and drums. At the tender age of 15 at a little party, in her hometown, where she also had been part of the organizational crew, she made her first experience as Djane. A number of parties followed and she really fell in love with her new passion. However, she took a time out to finish her education. But she could not get the turntables out of her head and thus she had her comeback in summer 2001. At this time her life made a big change.

She had her first TV appearance in the show OOPS! on Swiss Television. In summer 2002 one of her dreams came true: She played at Zurich's Street Parade. During a life show called TrancXpress on Radio X she was discovered by Prognosis Records. Gigs like the Swiss Dj Meeting, Mainstation, Tunnel Rave and interviews with Rave TV, Djznet, Trend Magazine and many more followed. Her success even reached Poland and Germany, where she played at different clubs and events. And finally another dream came true: she released her first Single "Walk On Air" on the German top label Toxic Records.
