Bill is the founder of Sunkissed Records, America's promient progressive house label. Alongside, Bill Hamel decided to begin a sister label Teknology Recordings. Teknology was created to cater to the dubby/techy side of progressive house. In just the past year Bill has worked with some of the dance industries biggest names, not to mention getting funding and distribution from a major record distributor for his label. He has worked with Evolution, Mara, Sam Mollison, Blue Amazon, and Simon Noble of Breeder fame. This year sees him working with them again plus the likes of Dominica and the rest of the Advanced Records crew. Sunkissed always has the support of the worlds biggest DJ's like Sasha, Dave Seaman, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren, and Paul Van Dyk.
In just the past 6 months Bill has had several tracks featured on several rather large mix CD's. On Dave Seaman's new Ministry Of Sound you can find Bill's track, Ritmo "G 13". On Nick Warren's latest Global Underground CD, Bill produced the very first track and on John Digweed's Bedrock compilation Bill produced Mark Hunts "Over & Out". Not to mention some of his newest tracks will be featured on Danny Teneglia's latest Global Underground, plus Jerry Bonham's and Noel W. Sanger's upcoming CD's.
Bill was recently featured in URB magazine's next 100, which is a yearly compilation.
