DJ Bad Pat alias Patrick Althaus was born in 1983 in Muenchenbuchsee near Bern.

At the age of 9 he started to play drums. Already in his school years he was interested in music, his interest switched.

During his education he met DJ Skaos and DJ Dynamic from Outbreak Records, who gave him the opportunity to have a shy at the turntables. DJ Bad Pat was fascinated right away. Not along time after that he played at private festivities and birthday parties.

Through Fabio Di Nardo alias DJ Dynamic and his brother Tony Di Nardo alias Spider Forces, he had the possibility to play at Warcraft in Bierhuebeli. With DJ Skaos he organized R.o.b.o.t.s I and R.o.b.o.t.s.II, which were both a big success.

In addition to that, he played at following events: Fantasialand (Muenchenbuchsee), Winterfestival (Fribourg), Tracid Traxx Nigh (Bern, Stufenbau) a.s.o. Here, the essential story of DJ Bad Pat begins. Again and again he is able to power his people on the dance floor for high dancing performances.

Soon, other organizers observed him.

After that he was engaged by Nachtwerk, Thun; Gate one, Bern; Bierhuebeli, Bern; Guayas, Bern a.s.o. As a result, performances at bigger events in several Swiss clubs.

At the end of 2001 he came in contact with Andre Forrer (DJ Mind - X) and was gonna with him to such events.

Also Daniel Maeder (DJ Tide) was following up to different events.

Since 2001 DJ Bad Pat and DJ Tide stay in collaboration together. They already made two tapes, which are getting a great interest.

By the way DJ Bad Pat has also earned great success with his dj-career. With his trance to progressive sets, he always can get the guests with him to a great celebration and musical feeling.
