With a classical and modern dance background, Back to Mars is one of the few female djs making her way in the dance music scene. Playing since 2001, Mars' music style is a blend of warm progressive and twisted fast psychedelic trance, every now and again traveling into other musical spectrums like electro, tech house and deep house. Her mixing is intelligent and uplifting, and she brilliantly surprises the crowd with her unique style. Back to Mars uses her intuition to choose the right music for the time, place and public, as she brings out the experience of feeling the power of music through her sets.

Back to Mars now represents Dutch Flowers Records, the label from her home-land Brazil, as well as Cytopia Records from The Netherlands and Organic Records from The United Kingdom. She also organizes the weekly DJ line-up for Coffeeshop Siberi in Amsterdam and has recently joined the crew that organizes Tranceformers, the weekly event at club Korsakoff in Amsterdam, hosting this night once a month. She is also a co-producer and resident DJ of Prog as a Frog in Amsterdam, city where she lives since 1998.
