ANDY BARBIERI
He first got into dance music in the late 80's / early 90's hooked by the latest dance tunes from the likes of S'Express, Orbital and 808 State. But it wasn't until 2001 when he experienced clubbing on a whole new level when he visited Godskitchen and was totally inspired by the club, the music and the people. Having been inspired by what he saw in Birmingham, He's been involved in various nights, mostly set up in bars, trying to bring the vibe and the tunes from the clubs to those that never thought to go to the bigger clubs. Since taking to the decks as resident DJ at his nights, under the Residentclubber.co.uk banner, in October of 2004, He's been gaining valuable experience playing to the crowd. Influences from the Funk, Soul & Disco of the 70's, the acid house of the late 80's, through to the electro, funky, deep, latin house of today have helped define his sound.
