Born and raised in Calgary, AB, AmDiem a.k.a. Jeff Whitmore started dj-ing at the age of 16. In less than a 3 year span, he's grown into one of Calgary's most well known DJs. He's played alongside djs such as Marcel Woods, Johan Gielen, The Tidy Boys, The Thrillseekers, Ayla (DJ Tandu), Aquasky, Josh The Funky 1, and Dj Dean, to name a few.AmDiem has become best known for his ability to blend a unique stage presence along with a fusion of house, trance, and techno. "I don't like to stereotype myself as a certain style of DJ. I love to progress my sound, so it would be unfair to consider myself a Trance, House, or Techno dj. Progression is the key in my sets, and to be honest I'd say the best way to describe my sound is to simply use the word -TECH."2006 looks to be a promising year for him. He's taken a hand in the launching of a brand new digital MP3 website which will allow for him to have releases/remixes on his very own Digital Recording label. Keep an eye out for this kid, as he shows much promise for the future!
