Alex Eljaiek has been involved musically his whole life. With his father being a fan of the island of Ibiza and its culture, Alex Eljaiek was introduced into the world of music at young age. This exposure to music has had had a major impact on his life.

At the age of 13, Alex Eljaiek bought his first set of turntables and a mixer; both of which were very poor quality. He soon realized that vinyl was to expensive at this stage in his career so he sold the turntables back and got two used CD players from The Guitar Center. He began to perfect his talent, learning the different ways of mixing and manipulating the sound. He gained more knowledge on song structure, beat matching, and mixing in key to seamless play throughout a mix. Alex Eljaiek played at parties for his friends and for school at around the age of 14, gaining more skill, experience, and notability.

At the age of 15, Alex Eljaiek got his first nightclub gig at the Planet Club. While working at Planet Club, he received an offer to play at a local bar. He accepted that offer where he was then heard by the owner of an entertainment company who later provided many gigs at bars, schools, colleges, and parties. Very quickly the name of Alex Eljaiek was known in the nightlife community.

At the age of 16, Alex Eljaiek started producing his own music. Starting out on the program of Fruity Loops he made various instrumental house and trance tracks and played them during his sets. After saving money, he upgraded his DJ equipment and bought great studio equipment to allow him to pursue more options and become a better DJ/Producer.

Alex Eljaiek's career took off right before his eyes. Two weeks after he turned just 18, Alex Eljaiek became the resident electronica DJ at the #1 club in Washington DC, Ibiza! Alex Eljaiek played at the Grand Opening of Ibiza, and continued to play weekly sets thereafter. Since then, Alex Eljaiek has performed at various clubs within DC such as Fur Nightclub and Eyebar.
