Since his early childhood at the age of 12, Alex Dawn experienced his first contact with electronic music. "I still know when I watched the mayday, a big rave here in germany on television. The mixing combination of two tracks, the development of something new, the euphoria at the people, I cant stop thinking about it". Two turntables were bought immediately and first steps were made at school parties. Since then a lot of things were happen. Meanwhile there were 10 years left, Alex Dawn comes of age and stands for a own mixture of techhouse and progressive without loosing the basic facts. "The most important thing is giving the people a wonderful time and embark them to a journey". Without lose sight of his deep and melodic style, you can always discover new style elements. "Electronic music is so manifold, I love to combine Breaks, Electro, Tribalhouse, I dont like these typical stereotyped thinking a lot of people still got. If you play a melodic track in Germany everybody immediately says its trance - in my opinion this is false. A track I play has got to have a soul, something magical. In my opinion a dj have to live in music for doing a good job!". In 2006 he started producing too "I always dreamt of making my own track, express my feelings in a song which is built up from my emotions". His different radio performances, the residence at the "Gustav Club" and the always rising number of venues he played are indication that he is right with his attitude....
