Growing up in Buenos Aires, Alex started taking guitar lessons at the age of 7, with the popular guitarist from Primitiva, Adrian Sanchez, who introduced him into the world of "Glam Rock". Not only did he learn to play the guitar with him, but got into playing the drums as well. At the same academy he spent hours after-class to brush up on his piano.

His first approach at recording goes back to the year 1994, when with only 10 years of age he had composed his first track called "The Worker". This song, whose structure consisted of 4 parts, had bits and pieces of percussion from a Technics keyboard, combined with 2 guitars, a drum and an electric base.

At 15, Alex was already part of 2 local bands and was recording as a solo artist. He also started playing music at private parties with his brand new 12 Channel Behringer. With Aneurisma and Sinamores he played at local clubs such as The Roxy, La Colorada, Hipolito Rock and The Road to name a few. This was a time when he gained a lot of experience with the audience. His love for percussion began to grow as he played the drums for one of the bands, while for the other he sang and played the guitar.

At the age of 17 he began to take interest in pop music, especially in the 80?s. Growing up with local radio station Aspen Classic, Alex began to train his ear and become music literate with Level 42, P. Lion, Raze, Fax Your Self, Duran Duran, New Order, Kraftwerk, Inxs, Yazoo, Information Society & Depeche Mode amongst others.

His love for this music drove him to the inevitable: convert himself into a DJ. With his previous experience at private parties he was already starting to develop a unique style with his music and sounds. You knew right away Alex was playing because of his distinctive beats.

He started his residence as a DJ in a local night pub Porto Pirata during the second half of 2004, and with only 1 month on the decks, he managed to capture the youth’s attention, gathering a big crowd and making Friday night a real party in down-town Buenos Aires.

Nowadays he is part of Alai and he launched a Deep House project with the young producer Andy Ackerman. He is also about to release his first single production to be finished in the first days of September 2005.
