Nowadays he is one of the outcomers spanish djs and producers. Albert Maris was born in Barcelona. He took special interest for the music since young. At the age of 16 he played his sets for the Catalonian geography, playing in multiple events, clubs (Discotheque, Lisboa Club, Pacha, Feeling Room, Tamtric, Factoria Club, Room), raves, high-society parties and sharing sets with renowned people like Dj Pipi, Danny Murphy, Marc Moreno, Angel de Frutos, etc. But it was later when his career started taking a path influenced by funk & soul music. His sets range from selected house to deep, electronik & underground music. Places like Barcelona, Andalucia, Canarias Island, Basque Country, Galice, South-America, Belgium, Morroco, London sharing sets with star djs like Eddie Amador, Clive Henry, RPO, Dominic Plaza, Justin Ballard, Andy Spinelli, Elio Riso, and so on. His productions as well are considerable. On 1999 decided with his friend and partner Marc Moreno launched a new Project Sick of Sound, a quad of 2 djs and producers who play live sets with virtual machines and musicians, an worldwide innovation. Also Sick of Sound is a network of virtual studies where people can produce tracks with the djs. In 2000, beer Branco Carlsberg included his song Sitges Sensations in the compilation by Warner Music Afterwards on 2003, Sony Music launched the compilation Flamenco Chill with his song Alhambra. Flamenco Chill was born to promote the famous group Chambao; people like Jose Padilla, Mike Oldfield, Henrik Takkenberg, Vicente Amigo, Carlos Mario, Mala Rodriguez. As well appeared in this project selling over 60.000 copies in 10 countries. Alter this good beginning, Sony Music decided to promote again with the new reference La esencia del Sur (performanced by El Troncho) included in the compilation Flamenco Chill-in, raising important sales. Labels like House Works, Freshouse Recordings, Domo Recordings, Boavista Music, Nitro Records, Housetravaganza Records, Flycase Recordings, Real Records, Dro, Kernel Productions, Electronikautor... startes to launched his song from loung-ambient style to dancefloor hits. Nowadays Albert Maris counts with 30 references in the market selling tracks in countries like Holland, Italy, U.K., USA, Turkey, Greece, South-America, Asia.
