AARON CAMP
Aaron Camp was born in Albuquerque, NM in 1980. He attended his first rave around 1997 and instantly fell in love with the music. After being a small part of the Albuquerque rave scene he moved to Seattle early in 2000. It wasn't until late 2002 that Aaron, along with his roomate at the time, decided to combine their finances and get a crude dj setup. This is when Aaron truly found his musical style and passion.Aaron Camp's DJ sets are generally dark, deep and consist of meaningful builds with heavy drops without using many epic horns or "diva vocals". Generally his style can be considered progressive psytrance with influences from Infected Mushroom, Son Kite, Sandra Collins, Underworld, and DJ Dragn'fly. His mixing style changes often but commonly involves long, active mixes to create a unique sound and a good flow to the set.Aaron has performed in Seattle at Aristocrats, Contour, Jai Tai, Vitos and various house parties in the Puget Sound area. Currently he has a residency at Vitos Nightclub in Seattle and works as a promotor as well. Aside from Spinning records he is currently working on a degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington to gain a better understanding of audio equipment and signal processing. This DJ is moving up in the scene and is definitely worth listening to. Look forward to hearing more from this dj including some original tracks in the near future.
