DJ Aakash began remixing tracks in 2001 with an idea and a computer. Born in Cleveland, OH, and originating in India, DJ Aakash was inspired by such artists as Hybrid, DJ Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Prodigy, and BT. Aakash is currently working on a CD.
Now, DJ Aakash is busy experimenting with different genres. He is interested in collaborating with other artists and also he is into producing.
He recently collaborated with Kabir Singh to form the group, BBT, which is a bhangra/north Indian/hip-hop oriented group associated with mixing different styles of different cultures. Also DJ Aakash may soon be working with the rock/IDM band by the name of Calvin Coolidge.
