Born in Warsaw, Poland, Hugo's first encounter with turntablism was not out of ordinary. A college roommate, an experienced DJ from London, with a pair of MK1200 and a Gemini mixer, was Hugo's first introduction to the world of quality electronic music. Since then his tastes were set. Together they hosted a radio show on their campus radio station for over three years. Whether it was drum'n' base, garage, house or down tempo -- he loved and played it all.

Upon his arrival in Boston, Hugo frequented a small club downtown; Hibernia was a place with fabulous music and unpretentious vibe. Upon it's closing, Hugo decided to start his own career. He adopted his new DJ name and was set on exposing Boston to some soulful, hip-swinging music.

Since then DJ huge performed at few venues around the larger Boston area (The Enormous Room, The Druid, etc) as well as performed DJ services at private parties. In June of 2004 he began a regular event at Brendan Behan's Pub called 'EXPERIENCE'. Currently DJ huge spins at ORLEANS in Davis Sq. every Saturday.

DJ huge's career is flourishing and he is slowly being recognized as an up-and-coming DJ in the Boston scene. He's always looking for new music and gigs
